COMPLETE 2 BOOK SET PRINTED IN SALONIKA, GREEC IN 1788-91. 2 VOLUME BA'E CHAYE ON JEWISH LAWS, BY THE GREAT SEPHARDIC RABBI HAIM BENVENISTI, WHO AUTHORED THE KNESSET HAGEDOLAH. THE BOOKS HAVE SOME REAL OLD SIGNATURES AND STAMPS.
THE SECOND HALF WAS REBOUND BEAUTIFULLY, IS COMPLETE, TYPICAL SALONIKA STYLE, WITH VERY WHITE PAGES, AND IN VERY GOOD CONDITION, NO REAL DEFECTS. THE FIRST VOLUME IS GOOD BUT MISSING THE TITLE PAGE, INDEX IS INTACT. NOT REBOUND.
THIS IS THE FIRST EDITION AND THE ONLY EDITION UNTILL RECENTLY. COMPLETE SETS ARE VERY RARE AND SOUGHT AFTER.
