Up for auction 5 piecesof 2" hot rolled 4140 heat treated round mill run hot rolled at 2" had surface rust, was tumbled to clean up and sawn at 11" long 4pcs at 48 lbs.Thesen 4 bars are packed in one large flat rate box and ship as one box! These are drops from a longer piece being modified. we have plenty so are looking to liquidate some. sold for use for turning applications where your parts are less than 2". If you need stock ASAP just let us know and We will list a few and put a buy it now on some, this will help getting them in ups to you asap. 4140 heat treat is rockwell 28-30 Rc hardness, so it is very good in making sturdy parts with a good wear properties with out having to harden them after machining, thus saving time and cost to harden and still having better parts! Fine material for pins and bushings, shafts, etc. Machining this material is good just run at slower speed than annealled material.LOOK AT MY OTHER ITEMS IN MY STORE!
