"Crosley Field Revisited" by Bill Purdom is a ltd ed. (600 with 60 APs) litho This print measures 21 5/8" height by 29 5/8" width. It was published in 1989. It’s 1964, and that's Frank Robinson tearing into an opponent's pitch at the Reds' long- gone ballpark. From your vantage point in the lower deck, looking straight up the third base line, the four large billboards and old-fashioned scoreboard in left are clearly visible. So is the slope leading into the left field wall, a slope that served the same purpose as a warning track. Several brick buildings and a tree-covered hill can be seen in the distance. A pillar poses an obstruction to the right, but a young Pete Rose can be seen edging off second base. Of interest, artist Bill Purdom, then 11 years old, snapped the photo he used as the reference for this piece "Crosley Field Twilight" by Wm Feldman is a ltd ed. (600 w/60 APs) litho This print measures 15 3/4 " height by 36" width. It was published in 1989. It's twilight in the Queen City as you settle in for a game between the Reds and an unnamed opponent. From your field-level seat deep down the left field line your view begins (left to right) at the right field bleachers and sweeps down the first base line to the area behind home plate. Four banks of lights are aglow above the old Cincinnati ballpark, and a Wiedemann beer sign can be seen on the facing of the upper deck down the right field line.
