These tubs are hand crafted from the finest clear Western Red Cedar, and are ideal for outdoor usage. Cedar is simply known as the "King" of outdoor woods and has always been the choice for boat and canoe builders, decks, and log homes. It aromatic oils make it impervious to decay and insects, and its rich color will enhances any décor.  Like all our products, we use only the finest material including architectural stainless steel straps that will never rust or bleed the beautiful wood.

This tub is heated using a renewable energy source, Wood!  Unlike traditional spas, it needs no chemical to treat the water.  When finished soaking, you can simple drain the water into a lake or garden with out ever harming the environment.

This system is heated using a Japanese made stainless steel Chofu boiler system. This wood-fired heating system is used extensively in Japan to heat their Ofuro style tubs (wooden bath tubs). It uses no electricity and gently circulates the water using a principle of thermosiphon. The Chofu heater has a specially vented smoke-outlet for secondary combustion provides less smoke and eliminating sparks. The Chofu heater has a built in temperature control, using a high and low speed draft control to regulate the heating rate.

Because it uses no pump system, the tub is completely quiet.  Now you can enjoy the sounds of nature not the sounds of a loud motor!

The 1 1/2" thick cedar wood provides a natural insulating value that cannot be found in regular plastic or acrylic bathtubs. The extra depth, length and width allow 2 people to enjoy a soak in a completely natural relaxed position.   Also inluded is a cedar back recliner.

The stainless steel drain system is connected to a standard 1 1/2" PVC pipe which can be addapted to a garden hose or extended to a secondary drain.  Alternatively, you can drain the tub directly beside it without worrying about killing plant life, as there is no need for chlorination.

Winter use:  The Chofu heater comes with two port plugs.  These can be used to drain the Chofu by opening  its drain valve with out draining the entire tub.  This allows you to safely use the tub in winter months with out constantly draining the tub.

The unit is backed by a 1-year manufactures warranty that includes both the tub and the heater.
