I have been a member of eBay for several years. With a 17,000+, 100% positive feedback rating, I have ensured that sellers are immediately paid, and that buyers promptly receive what they paid for, in good condition. I am prepared to sell my personal postcard collection of 20,000+ cards, but not just the postcards themselves. This postcard collection is computer and software ready for eBay submission. In effect, this is an instant business.
I use eBay Blackthorne BTPro software, and PAIR for image storage, so the postcards and images can easily be transferred to a current (or future) eBay Blackthorne and PAIR user. The purchase would involve a simple transfer of the database, and transfer of the PAIR account where the images are stored. Over the years, I have spent thousands of hours on the creation of this database, from scanning the postcards, to uploading the images onto PAIR on the internet, to preparing and reviewing all of the detailed auction text for each item.
The Buyer would need to subscribe to the eBay Blackthorne software at $25 per month, PAIR at $16.95 per month, and would require a computer with sufficient power to run the software: Windows Vista, Windows 2000, Windows XP 1.5 GHz Intel Pentium Processor or equivalent 512 MB RAM 50 MB free hard drive space
You would then massage your database to suit your needs, and your personal profile. I will provide the basic help with this process, and for advanced training, I will recommend a highly respected fellow Blackthorne user who can assist you for a reasonable fee. I have personally worked with this individual and can highly recommend their participation.
I also understand that the database can be transferred without the buyer opting for the Blackthorne software, using a flat CSV file, but as I'm not very technical, I don't know how this approach would work with your software. But I'm sure I could gather some info for you, or lead you to someone who could provide this info
Approximately 2,800 of these postcards were manufactured in the 30's thru the early 50's by Artvue of New York, and come with their original negatives. There are approximately 800 real photo postcards. No postcards are being pulled from the collection, so you will receive everything. Most of these vintage postcards are town and item views and are as early as the 1890's. The postcards can be picked up in New York State, or will be shipped at cost via UPS.
This is a cash sale. No financing. The price is firm. Review of the postcards can be scheduled at my residence in the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York. My feedback rating speaks for itself, so there is no risk here. I cannot guarantee your sales, but you will not find another opportunity of this nature anywhere. Perhaps you have a son or daughter who needs extra income where you could set them up in a side business. Or perhaps you're a postcard dealer who has put off selling on eBay, but can now jump into it without all the labor. Postcards are highly collectible, and postcard collectors are extremely nice to work with.
Unlike most eBay items, postcards are also easy to ship. No gathering of boxes to fit the size of the sale.
Please note that this is a sale of the physical inventory and the database only, and does not include the use of my eBay user name.
Any questions, please email me through eBay. You can also view many of these postcards as over 4,000 of them are currently running on eBay under user name catskillscollectibles. Of course, I would end the auctions on eBay based on a completed sale of this collection. A refundable deposit of $5,000 will be required for a qualified buyer, with final payment within 21 days of auction end.

I recently responded to an inquiry on the collection, adding some information below not previously documented:
I cycle my cards on eBay loading a group at a time into my eBay store for a
30 day run, normally 3,000 to 4,000 per group. Using the Blackthorne
software, it is basically pressing a button to load each group. I prefer
this approach versus having all of the cards on eBay at all times. As time
permits, and as you acquire new cards, or add your own, you can expand the
cycle, or the groups within the cycle.
The quality dictates the feedback rating I enjoy. My feedback rating is
currently at 17,154, with 100% positive feedback, with 22,750 positive
feedbacks received reflecting considerable multiple sales. One should read
the comments from my buyers when time permits. My Detail Seller Ratings are
4.9 out of 5.0 in all four categories. Of the 20,000 plus postcards,
approximately 700 of them are real photos, and approximately 2,800 come with their original negative (Artvue postcards).
At three cents per card per month on eBay, plus eBay and paypal fees, it's
the constant placement of volume through my store that has made this work
for me.
I also price my cards to make it worthwhile, and I grade them properly. 98%
of the postcards in the collection are priced at $8.75. My philosophy is
that if a card doesn't sell now, it's still available to sell in the future,
so I'll wait versus offer low prices. Bottom line, if a collector doesn't
have the card, eventually they will. And I do not accept offers on my postcard auctions.
