This book is considered to contain the best examples of Henry Alken's illustration work.  The colored engravings are beautiful and each is covered with it's original tissue sheet, making them near pristine in color and condition. As you can see the book itself is not in very good condition, but the contents are very good. 238 pages in length.

Each illustration measures 10 3/8" X 6 3/4". The story of John Mytton's life and his exploits is very entertaining, coupled with these great works by Henry Alken, this book, rebound, would make a fine addition to any adventurer's library. Or remove the rare engravings and frame them for an outstanding art collection!
