Neither photograph shows 20 carats, nor correct size. The photographs are used to show what the gems look like. I would guess the second photograph shows around 200 carats, maybe it is 175ish...the first photograph is just blown up from part of the second photograph to show detail some. I have no idea how many carats are shown in the first photograph, though coincidentally, it could be close to 20 carats, perhaps...figure on 2-20 gems per carat, thus 20 carats would be from 40-400 gems then.
