20" necklace with Sterling Silver findings has 16 nuggets of ethereal pale blue Chalcedony and crystal clear quartz. All stones cut by hand then tumbled. Then they are polished and crafted by our master jeweler. Fine craftsmanship -- you cannot get this in a factory-- Proudly made in the USA
A little about Chalcedony (pronounced: 'kal-sed-on-ee'): Because of it's pale blue color (those listed as dark blue are usually man made or dyed) it's associated with the moon and the sign Cancer. Greek, Egyptian and Aztec warriors all wore amulets of chalcedony or decorated their armor with it to provide protection from their enemies and for the strength and wisdom of the moon.
