These are STRONG magnets.  

I sell a silver colored clasp similar to this one but somewhat larger in size (6mm x 20mm).

Magnetic clasps make jewelry so much easier to put on if you're in a hurry.  When selling my own designs at gift fairs, I have found that people really love magnetic clasps.  People with arthritis or any other disorders that make using a regular spring or toggle clasp difficult are delighted to find that with these clasps they can put on their own jewelry and take it off again.  And the clasps themselves are elegant clasps to complement any design.  

Note: People who have pacemakers should keep away from magnets in general.
