Even
though the spec sheet says they can handle 50ma continous, we recommend
you run them at 10 - 20ma, and they will last almost forever. We include 40 resistors of 560 ohm
1/2 watt so the leds operate at 20 milliamps.
What you have really,
is two leds stacked on top of each other - each color has its own
positive and negative leads. These are fully dimmable and will operate
from 1ma to 20ma. Forward voltage is 2 - 2.2vdc
