In 2000, the Royal Canadian Mint offered a small number of premium, collector-quality special edition quarters displayed in a themed full color credit card style presentation. Estimated mintage for these coin cards is only about 10,000 each, making this one of the lowest mintage collector coin series ever from the Royal Canadian Mint.
You are bidding on the fifth of the whole series issued in September, 2000. The coin was designed by Randy Trantau. The coin illustrates the nation’s pledge to protect its natural treasures for future generations.
