| 2001 HALLMARK 1-400E BLUE COMET LOCOMOTIVE ORNAMENT |
|
For auction is a wonderful find of a Hallmark 1-400E Blue Comet Lionel locomotive ornament, from the Hallmark Crown Reflections Collection. Ornament was issued in 2001, and was done in a very limited edition, due to the choice of material it is made from- the ornament is hand blown glass, and was made in Poland by fine craftsman. Ornament measures 6.75" long and is done in a rich teal with red, silver, and black accents- it is based on what was considered to be the best model locomotive of its time, the Lionel Blue Comet train, which ran on the Jersey Central Line from New York to Atlantic City. This ornament is in what I would consider to be mint condition, as is the box in superb shape as well (a bit of camera glare, however the box is just fine).- it's perfect for gift-giving as well as for your own fine collection! I currently have several other Hallmark ornaments listed, and I do combine shipping to save you on the cost, so please View My Other Items For Sale- and Happy Holidays!!!

Most of the items I offer on eBay are from Upstate New York estate sales, and have been previously loved, gently used, or safely tucked away for many years. You are bidding on antique or vintage items that are described to the best of my knowledge and ability, and as accurately as possible. I try to give detailed descriptions and large clear pictures in my auctions, as you really cannot make an informed bidding decision from a one or two-line description, and you deserve to know what you are purchasing. However, please bear in mind that color, condition, and so forth may vary in opinion. Please view the pictures and feel free to e-mail any questions prior to placing your bid. Vintage treasures may show expected signs of age or use, as well as natural flaws or imperfections.
My goal is to make your shopping experience with me as enjoyable as possible. Being human, just like you, there may be a time I either miss a detail or flaw in the item I am describing that is important to you; if you receive an item that you feel less than meets your expectations due to my error, please have the courtesy to e-mail me immediately so we may fix things- I am very easy to work with, and prefer to only shop with buyers that feel the same way, as well as those who understand that communication is key. Again, please understand that I sell vintage and antique items that may show signs of use as well as natural flaws in the fabrication, manufacture, design, and so forth, and that condition may vary in opinion.
