2004 China Silver Panda

1-oz Uncirculated Coin

This auction is for a 2004 1-ounce Brilliant Uncirculated Silver Panda from China. On the obverse is a picture of the Hall of Praying for Good Harvest of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The reverse features a mother Panda and her baby. 2004 is the first year since the Panda coins were introduced in 1982 that more than one panda is shown on the coin.

This coin is the size of a U.S Silver Dollar and contains 1-ounce of 0.999 pure silver. It has a 10-Yuan denomination on the reverse. The China Panda series of coins was originally introduced in 1982, and has become a very popular collectors' item. The coin comes in a protective plastic capsule sealed in a soft vinyl pouch directly from the Chinese Mint. This is really a very beautiful coin with lots of sparkle and eye-appeal.
