Basket Combo w/Tie On

Fabulous collectible set of important basket combos from Longaberger Basket Co. (hand made baskets made in Dresden, Ohio) 2004 Horizon of Hope Basket Combo; whitewash finish with two tone pink stripe weaved through the middle and a border at the top; measures 5-1/4" x 4" x 5-1/2". Comes with plastic protector, pink and white HOPE toile cloth liner, whitewash wooden lid with pink floral design; and a pewter HOPE tie on/pin. The basket has the Longaberger stamp on bottom as well as the American Cancer Society stamp; signed and dated by artist.

THE STORY BEHIND THE HORIZON OF HOPE BASKETS:
In 1995, the Longaberger Company made a 5 year commitment to support the American Cancer Society in its fight against breast cancer. Now in its 13th year of their Horizon of Hope Campaign, they are immensely proud of the support their consultants and customers have given to the campaign. When these were newly purchased, Longaberger donated $2 from every purchase to the American Cancer Society. Baskets included self examination reminder stickers to encourage buyers to perform self exams on a monthly basis.

Longaberger collected millions of dollars each year in the sale of these beautiful baskets. SO
IN HONOR OF THIS TRADITION and to keep the drive alive, I will donate $5 from the resale of each Horizon of Hope basket in my Ebay store to the Susan G. Komen for the CURE Foundation.
