2006 Reverse Proof Silver Eagle was issued as part of the 20th Anniversary Silver Eagle Set. The set was limited to only 250,000, making the reverse proof coin a low mintage coin.

The reverse proof features mirrored raised design elements with a frosted background. This is the opposite of the traditional cameo proof finish, which features frosted raised elements over a mirrored background.
