| 2007 Pu Jing Hao - Yi Wu Shan Wild/Feral 25gr. sample. Pu Jing Hao is a very small brand run by a group of taiwanese pu er collectors. A pure selection of leaves of rare wild/feral trees from Yi Wu collected at high elevation - more than 2000m. Some of the trees in that area were estimated to be more than 2000 year's old. Mr. Pen who went to collect the leaves himself claims that all the leaves in this tea comes from trees that are at least a thousand year's old. Stone pressed, a little harder than the 2005 previously offered here wich was very loosely pressed, this 2007 produces a light golden liquor and has a very nice fruity taste and a long lasting hui gan (aftertaste) that leaves your throat with peachy notes. It's not as woody as the 2005 without that intriguing peaty aroma. It is a more balanced tea than the 2005 with more buds than the previous years wich account for this fruitiness. And, as all pu er made from very old trees, it is very pleasant to drink in its youth. A rare chance to taste a true high elevation wild ancient tree pu er. DRINK TRUE TEA! Shipping weight is approximately 100gr. |
