2008 J. Campbell Redskins Game Worn Jersey w/CAPT & Gene Upshaw Memorial Patch!

This jersey was worn by Campbell on 9-04-08 vs. the New York Football Giants!

When Joe Gibbs retired for a second time at the end of the 2007 season, the Redskins hired Jim Zorn, first as Offensive Coordinator and then naming him Head Coach. Zorn said at the time he would also serve as Quarterbacks Coach. After some initial challenges with the adjustment to Zorn's version of the West Coast offense, the Skins started the 2008 season in impressive fashion, but came short towards the end of the season.  However, Campbell played a key role in road wins at Dallas and Philadelphia, and in the process become the Redskins' new record holder for consecutive passes without an interception, breaking Theismann's previous record of 161 during the first half of the game at Philadelphia on October 5, 2008. Campbell wasn’t intercepted until November 3, 2008 when the Redskins played the Pittsburgh Steelers.

 

Keep an eye on Campbell and the Redskins in the 2009 season as they have great talent on both sides of the ball!  Hail to the Redskins!!!!
