CD (notice the depth of field)...
The microscope is in the shape of a hand held pen with a focus dial at the fingertip which takes a little bit of force to move so as to not change the focus to dramatically at once. It feels like a big marker...
Images are seen on your easily seen on your computer (big screens are even better of course) instead of through an uncomfortable rubber eye piece...
When you have your subject in focus, just click your mouse to capture a photo, or even record video (just select the "Video" tab in the software instead of the "Picture" tab). No memory cards to mess with and put in and take out. It connects to your computer with a USB cable. No expensive cards to install on your computer. Your images are instantly placed
on your computer, taking less steps and using less time than camera connections.
You can even add a helpful caption to your photo to help keep
your work organized. Some small font text is seen at the top left of this
photo with a time and date stamp at the bottom left as well...

This listing is for one microscope, a small black cradle to
store the microscope upright, A NICE ARTICULATING FLEX ARM STAND, and a video/image capture software program CD in one combined bundle. If you were to try to shop around online and buy a simular image and video capture program online it would cost $40 to $50, and wouldn't have all of these unique features.

Here are some more examples of what we captured within minutes of installing the microscope for the first time (the two photos shown below). Even better results can be achieved by using
diffuse translucent light. Natural light is best but photo studio lights with
diffusers can work great. You can also adjust the exposure settings, manual color balance and brightness controls,
etc. but
these images were taken starting out with an automatic setting without using
diffuse lighting, etc. Remember, the ring in the photos is just a Cubic Zirconia
ring and
the gold coin is in poor condition--we're working on getting some images of
high-end fine jewelry, loose stones, etc. to really show off the capabilities...

User's Manual: A helpful 31 page User's Manual is included on the CD. The User's
Manual is an Adobe Reader PDF file. The User's Manual is not in a
"Hard Copy" printed book version, but located on the CD. When the disk
is inserted, a menu is displayed. The User's Manual is available in
English, Traditional Chinese, Chinese (Simplified), Japanese and
Russian. But the best way to learn the software is just to install the
program and try taking some photos and videos and using the buttons and
menu options in the software. Some of our customers take one or two
hours while some take a few. It depends on your technical skill and
desire. You can always contact us if you need any further assistance
or if you have any questions along the way.

a nice stand, you have to use the microscope "free hand", which can be
a little shaky unless you have the stillness of a yoga master. It is also
possible to create your own stand out of hardware store and lamp store items
(clamps and desk lamp arms, etc.) but professional stands like ours are much
better and keep your microscope from being damaged from experimenting with
homemade stands. Don't let not having a stand stop you from buying just the microscope, because if you buy just the scope and experiment and learn how to use the scope, you can always buy a stand later on, hopefully in our eBay Store.
