20s RARE Don Quixote on Horse w Mica Shade Antique Lamp

Description

This is a super rare Art Deco stylized figural desk lamp of Don Quixote (The Man of La Mancha) on horseback getting ready to charge at his windmill. This appeals to horse lovers, and those of us who have chased a few windmills. Signed "Verona Lamp Co." it is circa 1920-25.  Original condition with original polychrome paint and curved panel mica shade.....even has the big windmill finial. It is virtually impossible to find this lamp in this condition. Has a tray in front for odds and ends. No damage to base or shade other than the typical wear to the paint inside the tray. measuring 23" tall, and shade is 14-1/2" wide.  All original hardware has been rewired with period cloth cord.  Thank you for looking.
