This auction is for 24 + (a few extra as available) 36 eggs generally ship-if the hens agree. Barred Rock Standard Hatching Eggs. The hatching rate is running high, but we cannot guarantee your hatch rate.

Statistically, shipped eggs rarely hatch as well as locally laid eggs. We cannot guarantee your hatch rate due to many variables including the delivery time factor and how the eggs may or may not have been handled during transit. If the package arrives intact, this does not indicate that the eggs have not been treated roughly, exposed to temperature extremes or x-rayed. If any of these shipping hazards have occurred, the eggs may never develop or show signs of fertility. We do not desire unhappy customers. If you are dissatisfied, contact us directly. We can and do guarantee fertile eggs to be shipped, the number of eggs you purchase to arrive unbroken and securely packed eggs.

We hatch weekly, every week of the year, from the same breeds, same birds, same pens as the eggs we ship to you. Fertility and Hatchability are closely monitored-- a large part of our business is the sale of

The layers are being fed 20% protein layer mash, some greens and scratch for fun. This flock has tested clean for Pullorum/Typhoid by Texas A & M and is a TPIP Participating Flock.

If you want your eggs shipped at a later date, than immediately after auction end, please make arrangements with us PRIOR to bidding! The eggs are being laid now and will be lost

Barred Rocks are a proven breed developed during the early 1800's in New England. This sturdy, dual purpose chicken will handle cold and hot climates quite well. Barred Rocks are dependable layers of large brown eggs and dress out well for table use. The standard weight for a male is 7.5 pounds and the standard weight for a female is 6 pounds.

We ship the freshest eggs possible, Regardless of when the Auction ends. They will be individually inspected, and wrapped in bubble wrap and or foam packers. Labeled, carefully boxed, and shipped pre-paid USPS on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. (USPS observes some Monday holidays) We will send an email when the eggs ship and include the USPS Delivery Confirmation Number so you know exactly when they shipped out and when to expect them to arrive. We always include extra eggs to assure you receive at least the number of eggs you purchased.

If we send a Second-Chance Offer it is only because we have extra fresh eggs that we did not expect the hens to produce. We DO NOT warehouse your eggs. We usually have more eggs available-email us.

Due to the perishable nature of these eggs, please email us if you are unable to pay immediately upon auction end.

We guarantee the number of eggs you purchase will arrive unbroken!

If they arrive damaged have the local Post Office or USPS delivery person verify the number broken and provide us with the name of the person and a way to contact them to verify your claim. We will replace the broken eggs or refund the money-our choice (actual money for the number of eggs broken-not the entire order or shipping.)

Express Shipping from our part of Texas will rarely result in overnight delivery-it generally takes overnight to exit Texas-we have no control over this process.

We closely monitor fertility,and hatchability.

We hatch and sell chicks weekly from the same eggs, birds, breeds, pens and environmental conditions (other than shipping) that your eggs are supplied from, so if there is a problem we will quickly become aware. We personally raise all of our birds on our premises, we never outsource or contract for eggs. All bloodlines come from TPIP and NPIP tested clean United States flocks.

We personally raise all breeders on premises, and never contract or outsource for eggs. All bloodlines are individually selected from TPIP and NPIP Certified clean U.S. flocks. We personally handle each and every aspect of your order from the Husbandry to the hand inspections and packing of each egg. This is not a hobby with us, it is our livilhood, we have been involved for over 30 years and will not intentionally jeapordize any aspect of our business, even if a "cheaper" way would increase profits.

In our opinion, there is a Right Way and then there is a Cheap Way. We guarantee you will receive the quality and the product you have purchased- the Right Way!

We are proud to offer over 45 breeds and varieties of birds(poultry). On eBay we only offer Hatching Eggs, as eBay does not allow the sale of chicks or live birds.
