24 K Gold Gan Lama Ohm Thangka Thanka Tanka Painting

A beautiful Gan Lama Signed Ohm Lotus Flower Thangka Painting from Nepal. I brought it back with me from my last trip there. Real 24 K Gold was used in its creation. Very bright and lively. The whole painting is phenomenal. The light blue ring near the outside border is a nice touch on this painting. A signed Thangka has more meaning in Thangka painting as signatures are generally done by Masters. Many Thangkas are not signed as they might be made by students or artists that have not had enough experience to elevate them to the master status. Gan Lama is a Monk and Master artist who lives on the outskirts of Kathmandu.

No noticeable flaws and the canvas is very crisp and clean.

Size: 10.1" tall and 10" wide (25.7 cm tall, 25.4 cm wide ) including border. 8.6" tall and 8.5" wide ( 21.8 cm tall and 21.6 cm wide ) excluding border.
