This beautiful Newcomb Pottery vase was given to our mother by her stepfather in the late 1950’s. He had received it from his sister (who had received it from a friend of hers as a wedding gift). The year of her wedding is unknown.
No chips, cracks, damage, or repairs found, looks to be in excellent condition. The vase had been stored in a glass front book case for as long as I can remember. I haven't cleaned it in the 5 years that I've had it, (other than a soft dust cloth).
The vase is a wonderful Iris design and measures 7-1/8" tall with an opening of 2-15/16". The bottom measures 2-3/8" in diameter.
All the information listed is from our mother, (deceased).
Cypher artist was Henrietta Bailey; Potter was Joseph Meyer
