Why Atlantis Fine Jewels? Our products are of fine jewelry / signed class manufactured with hundreds-year-old traditional Roman / Byzantine/Anatolian handicraft technique. Ancient techniques used in designs merges the ancient tastes with contemporary life in the hands of talented artisans and designers.
Why pure gold? We are inspired by the beauty and elegance of Ancient time jewelry made from 24 k gold which is pure gold treasured by ancient civilizations, and not treated with any other metals like 14k, 18k or 22k. All ancient jewelry pieces in museums are no less than 24k gold which is standing proof of the enduring beauty and elegance of gold.
Why labeled as 985k gold? When a design is being practiced, it is necessary to weld some pieces together which requires the use of another gold-solder that melts in a lower temperature than the gold alloy which is being worked on. However, when the gold being worked on is pure gold, the only way to make a solder for pure gold artifacts is to lower the carat of the gold slightly and make an alloy with an other metal. So many years of experience, we have managed to bring the pure gold-solder alloy to 985/1000 (=23,64k). The pieces produced from pure gold and welded with 985/1000 solder can be labeled as 24K pure gold under many foreign countries legislation. That is why our products are labeled as 985 K gold.
SHIPPING TERMS
UPS/ Fed Ex Express $25 ( USA& Europe), other countries $45. You may use Fed Ex courier services fast shipment(4-5 working days). All shipment fees are included in the shipment fee. However, please note that any taxes levied in the hometown of the purchaser is to be settled by the clients. All deliveries must be made to physical address . (no P.O. Boxes &APO/FPO addresses). All deliveries require signature on receipt, so please make sure that there is someone available to sign for the package for the completion of the delivery.
RETURN & REFUNDS
If the item you received is not the one you placed an order for, you may return the item for a full refund within 7 days after date of receipt. All items must be returned in their original condition. Any jewelry that has been customized or sized by the customers is not returnable once received. Thus, please make sure that you read the specifications carefully before you proceed with the purchase. Refunds will be paid by Paypal. Shipment fees are non-refundable. Please contact us first for return address and process.
