25, 2-3" Coral Pieces

ITEM  DESCRIPTION:

One representative lot of 25 shown in pic.  All lots are very similar.  We counted/checked several lots, and got numbers from 25-26 pcs.  These are sorted as 2-3", but each lot we checked had some pieces 3-4".  Can't promise it, but likely.

These are cool and beautiful pieces - individual pieces average from 2-3+ inches, but there may be a few smaller or larger.  No two lots are identical, but every lot is a nice mix of various white coral pieces.

Great for inexpensive classroom samples, aquarium decor (saltwater only I've been told), hermit crab calcium supplements, artwork, etc.  Use your imagination!

ABOUT COMMERCIAL CORAL:  The commercial coral that has been sold for many years is largely unavailable now.  It is fine to buy and sell in the country, but import has been severely curbed and shut-down for most.  Commercial coral comes from the occasional dredging necessary to keep shipping chanels open for freighters.  But due to environmental concerns, the commercial trade has been nearly closed - the channels are still dredged, but now the material is just dumped into a deep hole instead of salvaged for use.  The bottom line is- you cannot find it like you could even 3 or 4 years ago.  If you want coral, the supply is now limited to what is already in the country from years past.
