797 Unbuilt Model Car & Truck Kits For Sale!!
I am offering my entire collection Of Unbuilt Model Car and Truck kits for sale.  My wife and I spent 25+ years building this collection, doing it the hard way by going to swap meets and collectible shows throughout the United States (way before the ease of internet shopping) . These have been carefully stored and are in excellent condition.  They are in their original boxes complete with unbuilt parts, instruction sheets and decals.  Most are still in original factory-sealed shrink-wrap.   We are in our late fifties and although it was a blast going to swap meets and acquiring all this, it is time for them to go. We are moving and downsizing, so we will no longer have the storage space necessary to house such a large collection. I have posted some pictures of a few of the very desirable kits. Everything in our collection ranges in age from 45 to 15 years old. The majority are original releases from the 1960's, 70's, and 80's. There are a few from the 90's. The pictures represent a few of the best we have up for auction. Most are Ford Motor Company vehicles, but not exclusively. I have created a detailed list of each kit by: Manufacturer, Scale (if known), Kit Number, Description of Kit and Release date (if known). The list is available upon request.

NOTE: THESE ARE ALL ORIGINAL ISSUE KITS.  WE HAVE NO REISSUES OR REPRODUCTIONS OF ORIGINAL ISSUE KITS IN THIS COLLECTION!!

These are all boxed in heavy duty bankers boxes and have been completely inventoried for your convenience. You know there is nothing worse than having to spend hours making a detailed inventory of your collection. - this has already been done for you.

The collection is located in Boulder Colorado. There are over 100 banker's boxes of kits and it will take a U-Haul Truck to move them!!!  You may pick them up, or I can possibly deliver them for a fee.  If you want to fly in to inspect the model kits, the least expensive airlines serving Denver are: Southwest, Frontier, Ted, United and Jet Blue. Most other major carriers serve Denver since it is one of the top ten busiest airports in the country. I will gladly pick you up at the airport so you can inspect the entire collection before you commit to completing the transaction.

THE WINNING BIDDER MUST MAKE A $500 DEPOSIT TO MY PAYPAL ACCOUNT WITHIN 48 HOURS OF AUCTION CLOSE.  THE WINNING BIDDER WILL NEED TO PERSONALLY COME TO BOULDER, COLORADO, AND INSPECT THE COLLECTION PRIOR TO COMPLETING THE TRANSACTION. I will not hold any buyer responsible for completing this auction until after they have inspected the entire collection. If for any reason you are not happy with what you see upon inspection, there will be no hard feelings whatsoever and your deposit will be refunded!

FYI The kits that are not factory sealed were gone through by my wife Debbie. She placed the tires, chrome, windshield and decals in separate sandwich bags for protection. She then wrapped them in saran wrap. They have been in trash bags stored inside the banker boxes. There are actually 820 kits in 137 16x12x12 banker boxes. According to my calculations, they should fit into a 6'x12' enclosed Uhaul trailer. IMPORTANT PAYMENT DETAILS: I will allow up to 20 days to settle final payment for this auction if you intend to fly in and inspect the collection. That should give the winner time to obtain a low cost airfare or arrange time to come to Boulder and pick them up. If you want them shipped or delivered, payment must be made before shipping or delivery. Funds must be verified before release of the collection.
