This is a great all purpose lube that works excellent in a wide range of pistols and rifles. It works very well in big bore rifles( 444 marlin, 45-70, 470 Nitro Express), and performs just as well in everything from 30-30 to 30-06 with velocities from 800fps to 2500fps. It does very well for 38 spl to 45 Colt Cowboy loads at very low velocities(500fps), and still gives excellent groups and clean barrels in the 454 Casull or 500S&W. This is a stiffer version of the standard NRA 50-50 formula, This is slightly stiffer then BAC but does not need a heater. You can use it anywhere you would use regular 50-50, but it is not as soft. Eliminates leading, does not need a heater. Includes some of the ingredients in my Carnauba Red lube and made the way I like to shoot it. This is what is in my Lyman 450.
