Here is a Brand New Meade 70MM F8.5 zoom correct image spotting scope.
The supplied 1.25" zoom eyepiece gives powers from 25x to 75x.
This includes: 70mm scope, 5x24 finderscope, 45 degree correct image diagonal, 1.25" zoom eyepiece, adjustable aluminum full size tripod with eyepiece tray and dustcaps for the scope and finder. All parts and optics are made by Meade so they are first quality. This spotter is sharp from 25x to 75x! Not all spotters are sharp at the higher end of the zoom power but this one is!
Also you can CHANGE EYEPIECES IF YOU WANT! Many spotters do not give you that ability. I made the zoom eyepiece myself into a 1.25" eyepiece from Meade parts, so it is not the prettiest eyepiece in the world but it is all from brand new Meade components and it WORKS GREAT! I included two pictures of Joshua tree leaves on a cloudy snowy Arizona day. These are pictures from a digital camera hand held behind the eyepiece! The clearer one is from this 70mm spotter scope at MAX POWER. This is the worst case you can do in a spotter and with a cloudy day you get less contrast. So here is a very worst case scenario to give you an idea of how great this spotter is. I focused on the drop at the end of the leaf. Most sellers give you the best possible shot, I show the worst case so you will not be disappointed when you get the scope, you will be thrilled! It can only get sharper at lower powers and sunny days. Next to this is a picture from a competing spotter scope that retails for $80 and is 65mm in diameter at max zoom. Again i focused on the water drop. I am sure you can easily see the difference. Also I have looked at the moon and Saturn with this and had very pleasing results. The Orion nebulae is bright and beautiful too in our very dark Arizona skies with this scope.
