29"Black Haired China Doll, Kestner 1860 old cloth body

29" I offer an early China Head doll by J.D.Kestner made in Germany circa 1860- ..... she has the typical characteristic marks for a good Kestner China doll :

fine shoulder head with a deeply molded shoulder plate and six sewing holes , finest , white quality porcelain , fine painted facial features , no imperfections on head and shoulder plate..... her closed mouth has the most recognizable facial painting feature , mouth has a thin unpainted space between upper and lower lips , circles on nostrils  ,  painted eyes with blue irises and a small white highlight   , black and red outlines , long and thin one-single stroke ey brows  , cute double chin with deep dimple !

black molded and painted hair with a center part and white line , fat top style and finger curls around head ..

Head condition :  two cracks on shoulder plate in back , shoulder plate in front and head self NO DAMAGe  , a major crack from shoulder plate edge up and ends on neck in a faint hairline .... no other damage on this doll shoulder head , no rubs , no chips , no repairs or restorations .... just the two cracks shown on pictures

the doll has a real good and old home made body , made from cloth like a twill , lower arms are made from suede and hands with individual stitched fingers , all in good shape , sturdy stuffed torso and legs

2 piece of old undergarments , the 2 pc costume from cotton is new ! , just old black stockings , no shoes

Very nice real old Kestner China head doll , unfortunately two cracks  , but no damage is to see when doll is dressed and.... reasonable offered.......  heavy !!!
