The Dell PowerEdge 2550 server provides industry-leading performance within a 2U rack-optimized chassis. It delivers speeds up to 1.4GHz by utilizing the processing power of dual Intel® Pentium® III processors. With the integration of an improved system architecture, the PowerEdge 2550 replaces the PowerEdge 2450, which helped redefine the thin server market. New features include a Gigabit Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC) making the PowerEdge 2550 the first server offered among top tier service vendors to incorporate this technology as an embedded feature. The ServerWorks® ServerSet HE-SL chipset also enables 2:1 interleaving for faster memory access. Speed is further enhanced by high performance SCSI technology that helps to ensure the highest rate of data transfers possible.
Availability
Offering excellent availability features, the PowerEdge 2550 is an ideal choice for businesses that require high levels of availability in a multi-server environment running messaging/communications, Internet/intranet or network infrastructure applications. Equipped with hot-plug drives and hot-plug redundant power supplies,administrators can switch out components during operation. Additionally, the PowerEdge 2550 features dual embedded NICs with failover support to help ensure constant
connections to the network in the event one card fails. Along with the optional Ultra3 (U160) RAID technology, the battery-backed cache offers further fault tolerance by providing write-back cache support.
Expandability
The PowerEdge 2550 provides exceptional expandability for the growing server marketplace. It packs up to 365GB of internal storage with as many as five internal hard drives and supports up to 4GB of SDRAM to easily handle memory intensive applications. Payment is due within 7 days of the auction close. We prefer PayPal, but also accept Money Orders, Personal Checks(subject to a 7 day hold), and Cashier's Checks. We may reject or charge a handling fee on other forms of payment. California residents pay 7.75 % Sales Tax.
By bidding buyer accepts ALL terms and policies listed in this auction. The Online Consignment Depot is not the owner or seller of these goods, but merely a bailee acting on behalf of the seller to facilitate the sale of the goods by holding the goods until such time as a sale is completed and the goods are shipped to the buyer. Buyers who fail to pay within 7 days of auction close may be assessed a late payment fee. After 7 days have elapsed OC Depot may choose to assess a restocking fee AND re-offer the item for sale.

In the rare case of a major or gross mistake as determined by an OC Depot representative, we will typically go beyond the stated purchase terms. Buyer agrees not to leave negative feedback until they have contacted us in writing and provided us with an opportunity to resolve any issues. Buyer agrees that if we honor all the terms in this contract they will not leave neutral or negative feedback. If buyer disagrees with any of the terms stated herein they will not bid.
Domestic Shipping Policy:Our automated and streamlined shipping practices provide for a fast and risk-free transaction where most items ship within 24 hours of receiving confirmed payment! The buyer pays one shipping charge which covers postage, packaging, handling, delivery confirmation, and tracking. Insurance may be extra for some items. Buyers can not arrange their own shipping. Local pickups are available for a $10 handling fee.
Items of 1 pound or less typically ship by USPS Priority mail, while heavier items typically ship by UPS Ground. We reserve the right to select the shipping carrier and because UPS does not deliver to PO boxes the buyer must provide a physical shipping address. Our system automatically uses the shipping address indicated by Ebay/PayPal and ignores the Notes section.
We use experience-proven shipping materials and packaging techniques. Products may be disassembled prior to shipping as appropriate to ensure their safety and minimize shipping costs. Problems are rare however if an item is damaged on arrival, buyer agrees to notify us within 3 days with a contact phone number, and make the item and the original packaging available for inspection for another 10 days. We will notify our shipping carrier who will then have an opportunity to assess the nature of the damage. After our shipping carrier has made their determination we will then effect a timely resolution.
In the rare event that actual shipping charges are more than the amount quoted in the auction, buyer will be presented with the option of canceling the purchase or paying the actual shipping cost (Packaging and handling fees are waived).
International Shipping Policy:
At the bottom of this auction page under "Shipping, payment details and return policy" you will be able to see or calculate the shipping cost for your country. This single shipping charge covers postage (typically via Airmail), packaging, handling, customs forms, and our trip to the post office.
Because International shipping issues are outside of our control the buyer agrees that we have completely fulfilled our obligations once we ship your item and obtain a customs receipt. To be clear, having the item shipped across International borders invalidates any otherwise stated guarantee or warranty.
