2nd Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons Ravenloft soft back manual: Darklords #9331 (RR1)

For character levels 5 and up.

Within this volume are 16 dark lords and ladies, each a prisoner of Ravenloft. Some are new to the setting, yet all may seem hauntingly familiar, for they have been lurking at the edge of your nightmares, waiting for the chance to emerge in your campaigns.

The Headless Horseman, the Phantom Lover, the Vampire Panther - these and other malignant forces await. You'll read ghastly tales of their past, and grim accounts of their present. You'll visit their dark domains and tour the horrid sites portrayed in 10 full-page maps.

The shadows are lengthening; the air is growing chill. The Darklords are calling. Their voices are carried by the Mists of Ravenloft, and you have little choice but to answer.

Manual: Good to very good condition. Has a tiny bit shelf wear on the edges - mostly the corners. Basically the only reason I'd call this book good and not fine or excellent is because it has a lot of scratching on the cover. The scratches on the front are light and barely noticeable unless you look at it under the glare of a light. Even if you run your finger over them you can't feel them. The scratches are concentrated on the upper third of the front of the cover. The back looks a little rough. The right side looks kind of dirty, but I think it's ink from another book. It doesn't want to come off. There is a small crease on the left-hand side near the middle.. a little more near the top. It's obviously from someone's finger and from not holding the book carefully. It's about 1/2" long. There is a small tear near the bottom right-hand corner. The inked part of the cover is separating from the bottom portion. If that makes any sense. It's not torn all the way through. It's about 1/16" high and 1/2" long. And then there is the scratching. It's not very deep, but obviously worse than the front. It looks like someone used it as support for writing on paper. I can almost make out words, but it looks more like lines and scribbles. It's concentrated in the middle, but there are some light scratches above and below the obvious ones.

96 pages - the inside looks near mint! Pages are neat and crisp. Has a price tag on the front of the manual.

My husband and I are selling our Dungeons & Dragons collection. Most of these we bought at bookstores and never even used them. None of them are new so I don't know what homes they have been in, but they currently reside in a smoke-free home. I will be listing at least 5 items a night for the next few weeks.
