Monstrous Compendium Appendix III: Creatures of Darkness #2153


Inside this book are dozens of sinister beings waiting to strike terror into the hearts of role-players everywhere. From the dreaded scarab beetles of Har'Akir to the archer skeletons of Darkon and the drow vampires of Arak, these Creatures of Darkness will provide hours of diabolical adventure. But be warned - if you buy this accessory, your AD&D game players may never forgive you.

Manual: Good condition. Has some visible shelf wear, mostly on the binding. Has a large crease on the bottom right-hand side that runs up about 5 inches, but it's pretty light. Two more small creases under the first two monsters on the cover. Has a little bit of light scratching. Bottom right-hand corner is creased (not very big). The back has a 2 inch crease at the top and the top right-hand corner has a tiny crease. Another small crease on the back under the bar code. The back has obvious signs of being handled. You can tell where people have held it.

Inside pages are nice and crisp. 128 total. I noticed a few pages where someone has used a pink highlighter. They only highlighted a few sentences.. not the whole page or paragraphs! Only a few pages have been highlighted:
  • Boneless: page 19.
  • Shadow Asp: page 98
  • Vampire, Drow: page 107 & 108 (also has a few light pencil markings
Has a price tag on the front.


My husband and I are selling our Dungeons & Dragons collection. Most of these we bought at bookstores and never even used them. None of them are new so I don't know what homes they have been in, but they currently reside in a smoke-free home. I will be listing at least 5 items a night for the next few weeks.
