ABOUT ITEM CONDITIONs

If I state: "new and never worn" - it is just that! Something that I bought with the hopes of fitting into, and just have not been able to...  Typically tags are attached, but always check the "Item Specifics" Section of the auction page... I will tell you the real deal!

If I state:  "just like brand new" - it is an item that has been worn a very few number of times, (I usually state the approximate number of times) and the condition is "excellent" - no noticable flaws or stains, rips or holes, etc.  If it is cotton knit or sweater material, it may have a few "fuzzies" - but not an excessive amount - or I will state it.  All clothing I have owned has been dry cleaned only (if that is what the garment care tag required)! 

If I state "like new" or "gently used" - it is an item that looks great, has many years of life left, no gross problems or issues (and I describe in detail any I see). 

If I state "used" or "well worn" - it is just that.  I will describe and show photos of any "issues" with the garment.  Some may just need a button added, or there are easily repairable signs of wear or scuffs - but I will describe in detail!

Sometimes the clothing pieces I sell may need to be cleaned before they are worn, some have come directly from the cleaners but were stored in a cramped closet before selling.  A very few pieces I sell are from estate sells, or the like, and sometimes have perfume smells (I will state that the item likely needs cleaning) - but I will never sell anything smokey or foul smelling. 

Often times, the pieces have some wrinkling - but that is typically due to the fact that many of my clothes are stored in cramped closets.  Steam or a warm iron will knock those right out!

THE POST OFFICE BUSINESS

I generally mail packages using parcel post, standard mail or first class mail...  and at the latest, I will endeavor to ship within 4-6 business days following the date of payment receipt.

(Example:  If you pay at noon on Monday the 1st, I will ship your item sometime before or on Tuesday the 7th - Thursday the 9th of the month. May be shipped sooner, but it will DEFINITELY be by that date.) 

For most of the services I use, the post office states (on it's web site) that it will deliver within 2 (TWO) and 9 (NINE) days.  Nine out of ten times - my experience has been about 4-5 days.... For a total of about (at least) 10-12 days after payment receipt before your package will likely arrive.

PLEASE NOTE:  I do not typically ship with delivery confirmation, insurance, express or priority mailing – but will gladly add any of these services you would like - just let me know and I will resubmit an invoice for you including those services! THAT IS NO PROBLEM! 

ALSO NOTE:  I am not responsible once the items leave my house, if insurance is not requested and paid for...  Ask for insurance or at least delivery confirmation, if you think there may be a problem.  AGAIN, without it, I am not responsible once the items leave my possession.

NEW INFO:  I ship 90% of the items I sell in Tyvex style envelopes.  I wish I had time to do fancy wrapping and all that kewl stuff, but there just seems to not be enough hours in the day to do all that I'd like.  The envelopes I ship in are the exact same material that the post office uses for their Priority Envelopes.  I purchase them in bulk from e-bay.  I recently received a comment and the person seemed offended that although I clearly state that I do not ship with boxes & that the shoes (for example) are new WITHOUT BOX, that I had shipped the shoes in an envelope.  If this shipping method is going to be a problem for you (when it does not harm the item), PLEASE DO NOT BID!

If you do not e-mail me BEFORE the auction ends, do NOT pay until you receive a revised invoice (in case eBay allows you to pay before...)

ALSO, because I typically can only regularly get to the post office after hours (using the Automated Machine), it may take a few additional days to ship your item.  Of course, I will be as timely as possible. 

Also, combined rates are available for international shipments of 3 items or more, all won within 7 days, paid for at ONE TIME.

BOTTOM LINE - re: POSTAL STUFF

I wish I could sell on E-bay full time and quit my day job - but I can't - so I cannot get to the post office as often as some other full time sellers you buy from! 

I typically go once (and sometimes even) twice a week.  If you have not contacted me before paying to tell me you need it FAST - please wait about two weeks (14 days) before asking if your item has been delivered. 

I have NEVER (knock on my 'wooden' head) had a SINGLE item misplaced or not get delivered (lost) by the USPS.

In May, the USPS changed (increased) their shipping rates DRAMATICALLY!  If you have shipped recently, or if you sell on e-bay, you TOTALLY know what I am talking about and I am only "singing to the choir" - but if you haven't or don't, check out their website for an understanding of the increase in shipping prices. 

I ALWAYS list my shipping fees for ALL items I sell so there is no mystery or confusion....

        So, please do not bid if you do not agree with the shipping and handling prices.  There are no refunds (except in cases where I have grossly misrepresented the item) for changing minds AFTER committing to purchase an item on auction.
