Found in the low-country waters of South Carolina, this is a Carcharodon Megalodon Tooth also known as Carcharocles Megalodon, the most famous of all the shark teeth due to their size; some larger than your hand. These teeth came from the largest predator that ever lived. According to myths these giant sharks still live in the deep seas. I can only hope that as I go into the dark salty depths to retrieve these treasures that it is only a myth. My personal passion for searching for these teeth started when I was around six years old.
