Laduree is a world-famous and fancy pastry and tea salon store in Paris. Its macaroons are perhaps the best in Paris. It started as a bakery in 1862 and it's now grown to serving pastries, chocolates, and even meals.

Laduree is also one of our favorite pastry shops in Paris!

This listing is for 3 Laduree mini "charms." Every January around Epiphany, all the pastry stores in France sell the delicious galette des roi cakes (of the kings) with a charm inside each cake, which also comes with a paper crown.

The celebration nowadays in Paris is more like a social event: people have parties and invite friends and families to eat the galette des roi cake. And whoever gets the piece of cake that has the charm inside, he or she gets to wear the paper crown. It is an unique French tradition: we've been invited to those parties by our Parisian friends over the years.

These mini "charm" are authentic, brand new, and unused. They were being offered at Laduree's stores in Paris where we purchased personally.

The theme of Laduree 2008 charms is music. Each charm has a stamp that says LADUREE 2008 as shown in picture on left bottom below.

Material seems to be some kind of ceramic but we are not 100% sure. The 3 charms are:

• Guitar mini charm in some kind of pink color. About 1.3" x 0.5".
• Drum mini charm in some kind of green and silver. About 0.5" diameter with depth of about 0.4". 
• Mandolin-like (it looks like a mandolin to us but we could be wrong) mini charm in some kind of light purple. About 1.25" x 0.4".
