These dainty gloves were well cared for and one pair was never worn. The size tag is still sewed through both gloves but they do have a few tiny age spots. This pair has a lovely scalloped edge to the hem and is embellished with round and long beads of white. The tag inside reads 100% double woven cotton Invicta of Miami Made in Hong kong.
My personal favorite of this lot is the one with the dainty buttons and a double row of French knots accenting a button-hole stitch bow. There is a scalloped notch at the wrist but no tag to tell its origin. The last of this trio is a pair of with red white and blue gros-grain ribbon trim along the outer edge. Inside the left glove is lightly stamped "Fownes Embraceable 7½-8½ 100% nylon). I can just see her saluting the passing flag at the Independence Day parade with this glove on her hand. They are a bit larger than all the others and appear to have been worn more. They are not damaged, just "loved."
