THIS is a sweet piece hand knit sweater set made especially for your 16" Terri Lee doll. The set includes the pleated skirt. It is made from a brown wool herrinbone. It looks charming with the berry colored sweater and cap. The sweater set is a very lovely yarn -- the color is called Perry's Primrose. The sweater closes right over left -- the proper way for girl's sweaters. It will fit the vintage and the reproduction Terri Lees. The sweater and cap are made from fingering, or sock weight yarn and is 20% Pima cotton and 80% Merino wool -- a really great, soft yarn just the right size for doll sweaters. The sweater set is hand washable: dry clean the skirt. These pieces are patterned after the sets made for the Terri Lee Company in the 1950s. Very retro. Very Terri Lee. Please note that the auction is for the 3 pieces only -- the sweater, tam and pleated skirt. The doll and other accessories are NOT included. I have put a reserve on these items to help pay for the materials and hopefully, some of my time and energy. This little set would make a great gift for the Terri Lee collector.
