DESCRIPTION
|
On offer in this auction are 3 vintage Ken dolls, and 2 outfits. One dark haired doll has a twisting waist, and clicking knee joints that work well. The markings on his back state "Mattel, Inc. 1968" "TAIWAN", and on his neck "1983 MATTEL INC." Apart from slight paint loss on his teeth, which can be seen in one of the photos, he is in very good condition. Neither of the other dolls has a twisty waist or clicking legs. The blonde doll has the same markings on his back, and probably on his neck, but these are indistinct. The other dark haired doll has " 1968 MATTEL INC. US & FOR PATD OTHER PATS PENDING MALAYSIA" on his buttock, and "1983 MATTEL INC." on his neck. His right arm is a little loose, and he has lost a little paint from his hair. One doll is wearing a knitted outfit, and another is wearing an all in one short legged suit that is fraying. The doll on the right in the 1st photo has 1 chewed hand and the one on the left has 2 chewed hands.. The worst is shown in the last photo. Apart from these faults the items are in reasonably good condition.
