It's a very heavy duty cast iron centrifugal pump. This is a continuous duty pump that can run for long periods of time (unlike all small portable gas powered pumps that are rated for 1000hours of useful life). We also have a diesel engine to match this pump.
This is very simple and strong design. It's 95lbs of cast iron working for you at 20640 GPH! It would make a nice irrigation pump, it think it could also be the ultimate emergency bilge pump on a boat or be used for any other applications you can think of. This very heavy duty design would not mind a few leafs, small rocks or other trash. It has a cleaning cap in the bottom and a heavy duty steel impeller. One ebay buyer from MN is currently using it for pumping manure (We also have a real sewage pump if you need). Other clients in Southern USA are using it for fish farming.
You can use any power source to drive the pump. A diesel engine would be the most suitable for this heavy duty pump(see our other auctions). You may also use an electric motor, a gas engine, wind mill... It would not be hard for any DIY to hook it up to a PTO or make a bracket to mount it to a truck, tractor, boat... in order to drive the pump from the main engine.
TYPE: Centrifugal water pump (would also pump other non-corrosive liquids). Self-priming by adding water into the pump by the black cap the first time it's used.
