This set includes a mirror, coin purse, and the large and stunning bag itself. This delightful bag is adorned with rhinestones on the top metal clasp area, 5 small rhinestones are missing. The missing rhinestones are not noticeable unless you really look closely. The body of the bag is made of pleated metal mesh, and none of the plates are missing. This is a sign of amazing craftsmanship and quality. The clasp has a loud and confident close, and the 12" long chain handle is all original. The inside of the bag is made of silk and is in great condition with the exception of a small red stain in one corner. There are two small pockets on the inside, one of which holds the glass mirror. The little seperate change purse does have wear in the fabric along it's frame. All of the rings that connect the mesh to the metal upper are there. When open the effect is of an open sharks mouth. The hinges are clean and in perfect smooth working order. Lastly, the inside of the metal upper has the "Whiting and Davis" stamp, the "Made in U.S.A." stamp, and the number "2814" on each side. The purse measures 5" deep, 9" long, and 3 1/2" wide. This is a very unusual size and style for a Whiting and Davis purse, therefore it is more desirable.
