What's needed is a unit like this - a quality three into one switcher. (If you need more inputs I should also have a four input version listed, and a 4 way one with an IR remote control).
It has three inputs, each able to handle a left and right audio signal, and a composite video signal (probably called "AV" or "Video in" on your TV or recorder).
The output end of the unit has left and right audio out, and composite video out.
Of course you don't need to use every input - you can have just audio on some, or any combination you wish.
Perfect to plug up the DVD player, pay TV decoder, games console, old faithful VCR, and whatever else you need to feed into the TV, projector, or sound system WITHOUT constantly plugging and unplugging leads.
Also included is a 3 way RCA - RCA cable.
The appropriate input is chosen by a quiet positive action slide switch.
