This is a brand new drum shell offered by Saluda Cymbals.
This one is a 6.5x14 Keller (100% North American maple) shell - 30 ply thick. Yes, 30 ply! This will make a very high end drum. How high end? Orange County Drums charges $1029 for a basic 30 ply, 14" drum. And, Precision Drum company charges $375.00 for this shell. This shell is professional quality, well constructed and it will make a beautiful sounding snare drum. 30 ply shells are extra durability with increased volume and increased projection. The shell has been very finely, hand sanded inside and out. This shell is smooth and ready for staining or painting. This shell has a lot of time on it to make sure everything was accurate. The shell also comes complete with dual 45 degree bearing edges and snare beds (you can have the bearing edges and snare beds modified a different way if you want).
