Up for bids is this book titled "Workhorse of the Western Front - the story of the 30th Infantry Division". Written by Robert L. Hewitt, printed in Washington by the Infantry Journal Press in August 1946. Inside the title page states first edition.
This book measures 9 1/4" X 6 1/2", has 356 pages of text and about 46 un-numbered pages of B/W pictures at the back of the book. Cover is faded(spine faded more). There are some pen marks on the inside of the front cover, a few pages have tears. Generaly shows wear but it's all intact and a very readable book.
Combat unit histories are always nice to find, bid to own this piece of WWII history for yourself.
