You are buying 30 x Terminalia Catappa (Tropical/Indian/Sea Almond) Seeds

These seeds are freshly fallen (July 2009) from the tree. They were collected and prepared for delivery.

I will send out by the next business day of the completion of your purchase.

Kindly do your own research on the requirements of this magnificient tropical tree. Please understand that seed germination can be adversely affected by such factors as planting media-type, temperature, moisture content and light intensity. As such, I cannot guarantee these seeds to perform as expected in your attempt.

All I can say is, experience from previous buyers have indicated that it is quite challenging to get them to propagate. But if they do, you will have a beautiful tree with many uses.

We will send these seeds worldwide but you are advised check with your own country for any custom restrictions and other specific requirements!

In the United States, up to 50 seeds can be brought in legally providing you have a USA 'Small lots of seed' permit that lasts up to 3 years. This is relatively easy for US residents to obtain.

According to the rules for the USDA SMALL LOTS shipment, a person can have 50 seeds per packet and up to 50 packets. There should be no problem, as such, for these seeds to clear customs especially if you have the permit.

Shipping cost is $3.50 if you purchase the seeds alone. It will be only $1.50 if you purchase the equivalent of 100 Large Indian Almond Leaves from my store.

Please note that because your seeds are collected fresh (to increase their chance of germination) they may grow mouldy in transit. The mould will not affect the seed itself as it would be on the outer fibrous husk, which some growers remove before planting. Simply wipe or wash the mould off and the seed will be ready for planting.

If we dry out the seeds to ensure that it does not mould in transit, it would also mean that it is much less likely to germinate as these seeds are know to cease to be viable once they are completely dried out.
