For stomach sleepers the manufacturer recommends a 2 inch thickness; back sleepers a 3 inch thickness and side sleepers a 4 inch thickness. To make sure your sheets will accomidate your new topper we would recommend measuring the depth of your mattress and then measure your sheets from the corner seem to the elastic edge. In most cases your current sheets will fit a 2 or 3 inch topper; however for a 4 inch topper you will more than likely need a set of deep fitted or deep pocket sheets that fit mattresses up to 18 inches deep.
