3300 WATT CONTINUOUS FLUORESCENT STUDIO LIGHT KIT

This is a brand new professional quality 3300 watt three light digital video/photo studio lighting kit. This is one of our most powerful "Cool-FLo" lighting kits to date. This lighting kit is made up of three independent softboxes, the largest of which measures 48x48 inches square with an output equivalent to 1800 watts of incandescent light. But unlike the incandescent light, these high-output fluorescent bulbs produce a color corrected 5100K white soft light without the blistering heat.

This 1800 watt 48x48 inch softbox is the perfect main light. Because of it's size and the surface area of the diffusion panel (not pictured), the quality of light that emanates from this softbox, while powerful, is ultimately soft and naturalistic. It's like light that falls through a window on a cloudy day- soft and even. Shadows soften and lessen.

The second light in this 3300 watt kit can be used as a fill. It is half the strength of the main light, but at 900 watts it will balance the light falling on your subject, allowing for enough play of light and dark to model your subject and keep them from looking featureless.

The last light in this kit is a 600 watt light, for the boom. In traditional 3 point light set-ups, this light would be used as a hair light. Simply put it up and over, behind and at an angle to your subject's head to get the kind of separation that gives images a professional look. The high lights and slight halo it gives to your subject will add dimensionality to your subject. This is what really separates the amateur shots from the professional ones.
