Up for sale is an absolutely stunning hand made silk Smoking Robe from Sulka Paris. Although I offer up a number of Sulka pieces over the years these Vintage Sulka Robes are extremely rare to find and this is one of the finest that I have had the privilege to offer up for sale. Unfortunately Sulka has closed it's doors forever so these Smoking Robes will never be offered to the public again. Sulka Robes and Smoking Jackets have been the choice of many celebrities over the decades including the vast majority of 1930s Movie Stars. More recently they where brought to the attention of the public by the worlds most famous bachelor Huge Hefner who literally lives in his Sulka Silk Robes, Smoking Jackets and pajamas his collection is known to be second to none. Whether you are going to spend a night at the Playboy Mansion or just want to lounge around the house in style make this work of art yours you will never have a chance to buy it again.
This particular Robe is truly of Museum quality. The fabric that Sulka chose for this robe is composed of the finest Heavy-Weight Silk Brocade that has been highlighted with Japanese landscapes and scenes in rich shades of Blue, Burgundy, Gold, Green, Orange, Silver and Yellow. Leave it to Sulka to use what appears to be real gold tread to highlight this design throughout.
Some of its fashion details include a shawl collar, and 2 exterior hip pockets. The lapels has been inset with deep blue silk, satin that runs down the entire robe on both sides. This matching blue silk has been used on the top of both pockets and on the sculptured sleeve cuffs. All of the blue silk satin has been outlined in a very unique twisted rope like piping in blue and cream. It comes with a separate double sided matching blue satin silk sash. The interior is equally beautiful being fully lined in a soft Cream colored Silk Satin. Condition: This is the opportunity of a lifetime as Sulka is now part of fashion history. Overall this rare robe is in excellent condition throughout especially for its age showing no notable wear at all.
The Vintage Sulka tag is pictured below as you can see it is one of their early ones in matching blue silk satin stating ~ A. Sulka & Company~ 661 fifth avenue New York-London-Paris-Chicago. As is common on these vintage Sulka robes there is no material tag but Sulka only used the finest Silk in the world for there Robes so you can be sure that this fabric was woven by one of the finest mills in the world and are guarantee to be made from pure silk. This is the ultimate gift for the man that has everything.

SIZE - There is no size tag that I can find but it measures out to be a Large. Please go by the actual measurements listed below to make sure it will work for you.
Shoulders - 19.5"(measured across top from seam to seam)
Chest - 46" (measured under the arms across the back)
Length - 55" (measured from the top of the collar to the bottom hem)
Sleeves - 25.5" (measured from the top of the shoulder to the end of sleeve).
Shipping in the Continental US will be $20.00. This includes insurance and delivery conformation. Worldwide shipping is available I will only ship express mail as it is the fastest way and can be tracked it will be $30.00 to ship Express to Canada and $45.00 to ship International insurance is extra if you want it. I do combine shipping all additional garments will be shipped at ½ price shipping.

I pack all of my items with extra care in new shipping boxes with white tissue throughout I do not ship in reused boxes that may contain odors or soil clothing. I generally Ship USPS Priority mail but I can accommodate special request if needed. I will e-mail a Delivery Confirmation number as soon as I have shipped your item. Insurance is included at no extra charge. Generally I will ship within five days of receiving payment again if you need it fast just let me know at time of paying.

Although there are many fine high end clothing sellers on Ebay. I have recently noticed a number of fake designer garments being listed mostly from out of the USA sellers with private feedback but also there are some American sellers involved. Even though I realize, some people do not mind owning counterfeit designer clothing most are unaware that they are getting a fake. So please do not encourage these sellers by biding on ridiculous auctions claiming to sell brand-new designer pieces at ridiculously cheap prices. This simply is not possible you are most likely getting a cheap Made in China garment with fake labeling. Remember the old saying that you get what you pay for!!! A high-end garment by a deign house such as Brioni should rock your world and not be some run of the mill design with inferior workmanship. If you do find out that you have bought a cheap Knock off make sure that you report this illegal transaction to Ebay after they receive enough complaints about a seller they will kick them off.
