RAYCHEM ES 2000 IS SPECIALLY DESIGNED FOR ENVIRONMENTAL SEALING AND ELECTRICAL INSULATION OF WIRE SPLICES, TERMINATIONS AND COMPONENTS.
RAYCHEM FL 2500 IS LINED WITH SPECIAL FLAME-RETARDANT ADHESIVE. AS THE TUBING SHRINKS THE ADHESIVE LINING MELTS AND FLOWS TO FILL ALL VOIDS AND CREATE A COMPLETE SEAL AGAINST MOISTURE, OILS, CHEMICALS AND OTHER FLUIDS.
This high-reliability product is widely used for:
- Insulation or jacketing of wire harness
- Strain relief of wire terminations and connections
- Bundling of wire harness
- Protection of soldered points
- Insulation and capsule of electronic components
- Anti-corrosive protection
- Identification and color coding
General purpose insulation tubing:
- Shrink Ratio 3:1 AND 4:1
- Minimum Shrink Temp: 100C (212F)
- Operating Temp: -55C-135C (-67C-275F)
- Electrical: 600V per mil. U/L, CSA, OFT
Application of heat above 121C will shrink this tubing quickly to 75% for 3:1 and 85% for 4:1 of its supplied diameter or snug down on the object it is to cover.
