35mm Film Cutter - Also Cuts 120 Film & Stereo 3-D 3D

This compact, low-cost, low-tech film cutter makes an easy job of cutting both 35mm (all sizes including half-frame, Stereo Realist 3-D, European format 3-D, and 120/220 medium format films.

Compact and lightweight, it makes for an easy job to cut for any of the image size formats used on all of these films. One may use the markings for the most popular formats, or cut by visual inspection. Translucent panels on the bottom (see photos) allow light to pass through the cutter to allow visual cutting cues. Simply place the cutter on top of a light box. Simple! 

The film is advanced by friction on the outer edge of the film, and not by film perforations.  If you are a stereo camera shooter this will allow cutting a variety of stereo formats.  Stereo Realist, European Format, Nimslo Format, full-frame, as well as 120 film ISO Duplex, and Sputnik medium format. This one cutter will do all of these formats.

For 35mm format users this will cut Full-Frame, Half-Frame, Robot and any other formats that use this film. If you shoot cameras that use 120/220 film (60mm) you can visually cut 6x4.5cm, 6x6cm, 6x7cm, 6x13cm or any other size in this film format. Just lift the cutting blade, advance the film with the film roller wheel to the place where you want to cut, and cut! The design assures a clean and perpendicular cut.

Note that the film-advance friction mechanism works reasonably well, but one can push the film directly, or both, to make the process faster and easier.

This is a brand-new product in the unopened blister pack. We used our own cutter for the photos, but you will get the new one in the blister pack as shown in the last photo.
