that this auction is for the simple, direct conversion of fifteen (quantity
15) 35mm slides or photographs to DVD with a music
soundtrack. This auction is for the purchase of a "service"
we provide. When you play your DVD, the slides/photos will automatically
advance from the beginng slide to the ending slide. A title menu and chapter
selection menu will also be created for navigational ease. The chapter
menu will be made up of 8 thumbnail video clips depicting the series of

We place chapters breaks in logical places, based on subject matter, with
pinpoint precision. For example, we might place a chapter right between
a series of Christmas slides/photos and a series of family reunion photos.
This way you can jump directly to the exact scene you'd like, just
like you jump to your favorite song on a CD. We would NEVER place a chapter
break 10 seconds before the aforementioned Christmas slides/photos end,
as might be the case with some other studios who use a set-top DVD recorder
to perform a slide/photo transfer.
AUDIO
COMMENTARY:
Feel free to contact
us if you would like to add your own commentary track to your
DVD slide/photo presentation. We will send you a "scratch disc",
allowing you to preview your project and provide you with instructions
on how to record your own commentary, identifying people, places,
and events as the pictures change on the screen. A commentary
track provides a means for future generations to identify more
closely with the photos. Switching between the music track and
the commentary track is as simple as hitting the AUDIO button
on your DVD remote control. No one will ever forget Who's Who
in the family again!

Related Glossary Terms
- Amaray Case -
A plastic clamshell type case designed for DVD discs to differentiate
them from CDs and to protect them. It is similar to clamshell
cases used for VHS cassettes, but it is wider and thinner.

- Chapter Menu - In DVD-Video, a division
of a Title. Technically called "part of title (PTT)".
Therefore the chapter menu provides the viewer access to parts
of the title, just like the tracks (songs) on an audio CD.

- Motion Thumbnail
- A small, square shaped moving image that provides viewers
