AWESOME Original Hand Carved Wood Sword with African Head - 37" Tall
Excellent Collectible Carving and Conversation Piece

(not sure of the type of wood but it's a hard wood, smooth and solid)
Quite old - not sure of exact age - it was vintage when I got it 15 years ago as antique, looks exactly the same now as it did then, I keep it by my fireplace - the stain is rubbing off (mostly on the backside), also there are two chips on the backside edges (can't see these from the front), it was like this when I got it (see closeups of backside which are last two photos - one is near the bottom on right, one is at the top of the sword blade area below the figurehead on right)
A cord is tied around it which I assume is for wall hanging - also original, it's old
I'm not familiar with antiques or with this type of wood carving - it may be worth a lot of money, but listing at low minimum bid.
